In this horror thriller, the Van Traylen family has bequeathed land on a small island to have an orphanage built. many of the trustees, who are elderly, seem to be committing suicide, and the police become suspicious that there is more to the story. As the orphanage staff begins to die, bodies disappear, and mysterious accidents befall the children as well. Upon performing hypnosis, a psychologist discovers horrible experiments being performed by power-hungry scientists for beings much older than the guardians of the children.
