The film also talks with legendary music producer Milton Okun along with arranger and conductor Lee Holdridge about the creation of the new album. The film also shares with you some history about John Denver as well as the reasons why each of the world renown artists chose the song they wanted to sing. The group is comprised of an international group of singers to fully embody who John Denver was - an international man. The artists include: Danielle de Niese, Plácido Domingo, Plácido Domingo Jr., Rod Gilfry, Denyce Graves, Nathan Gunn, Thomas Hampson, Daniel Montenegro, Bárbara Padilla, René Pape, Matthew Polenzani (singing in English and Italian), Patricia Racette, Shenyan (singing in English and Mandarin), Stuart Skelton and Dolora Zajick. All the artists were given the option of which song they wished to sing and unbelievably no two artists chose the same song.
