Very Annie Mary is a UK coming-of-age film. It tells the story of a single woman in her 30s who lives with her father, who is verbally abusive. The titular character has dreams of singing. When her father has a stroke, she has to care for him, but she also uses the opportunity to find her voice again, literally and mentally.
