As they journey through the rugged landscape, things take a turn for the worse when a gang of outlaws, led by the menacing Slade (Monte Blue), ambush and rob the settlers. With everything they need to survive gone, tensions begin to rise among the group, and they start to question whether it's worth continuing the journey.
