Ruby is a young lonely girl who is forced to hang out with her self in the Summer break due to everybody pushing her away. With the help of her older brother Franco, she learns through her Summer who she really is, and what she stands for. "Wanna Hang Out?" is not a coming of age story but rather a story everybody will go through.
