We Lived For Estonia is a 1997 documentary about World War II era Estonia. The movie tells the story of The Forest People. The Forest People were people who chose to stay in Estonia after the Soviet forces took over after the occupation of the country by the Germans. The Forest People would hide in forests to evade the Soviet authorities and face deportation or possibly death.
