In this drama about the consequences of teenage pregnancy, Stephanie Daley is a 16-year old who collapses while on a school trip to the local ski resort. After examining her, doctors say she recently gave birth, and soon the dead body of a newborn girl is found suffocated in a restroom toilet. Stephanie insists the child was stillborn and resists making any plea deals regarding the infant's murder. Psychologist Lydie Crane, expecting her first child, interviews Stephanie in an attempt to unravel the truth about what really happened to Stephanie's baby, confronting her own emotions about pregnancy in the meantime.
