This is a dramatic crime movie about a group of people involved with a murderer. As his execution approaches, they suddenly meet. Sam Morgan works for the government. He helped in the prosecution of Frank Pierce, who was accused of murder and condemned to die. He realizes he does not believe the man is guilty and tries to stop the execution.

On the way to prison, he meets a young woman and gives her a ride. He drops her at a lodge near the prison. When he meets her again, a few hours later, she tells him she is the wife of the man to be executed.
