Wonderful Days is a South Korean animated film that was released in 2003. It is an action-packed movie that is set in a post-apocalyptic future where the environment has been destroyed, and only a small portion of the population has survived. This population is living in a utopian city called Ecoban, where they have developed advanced technology to keep the air and water clean. However, there is a catch; in order to maintain their city and its resources, they have to continuously generate power through a device called the Delos System. The city's leaders, who are a small group of elite individuals, control this device and use it to keep the city running smoothly.

The main character of the movie is a young man named Shua (Andrew Ableson), who was born and raised outside of Ecoban, in the lower class of society. He has grown up hearing stories about the utopian city and dreams of one day entering it. His chance finally comes when he is selected to work for Ecoban's military force. Excited at the opportunity to see the city that he has always admired, Shua moves to Ecoban, but soon realizes that everything is not as perfect as it seems.

While working for the military, Shua meets a colleague named Jay (Joon-ho Chung), who introduces him to a group of rebels who are fighting against Ecoban's leadership. These rebels believe that the Delos System is causing environmental damage outside of the city and wants to shut it down. Shua becomes intrigued by their cause and starts to question everything he thought he knew about Ecoban.

One day, while on a routine mission outside of the city, Shua meets Jay's sister, named Cade (Cathy Cavadini), who is also a member of the rebel group. Shua and Cade form a bond and are soon working together to uncover the truth about Ecoban's leadership and their use of the Delos System.

Throughout the movie, Shua, Jay, and Cade embark on a dangerous journey to take down the city's leaders and save the environment. They face many obstacles, including Ecoban's military force, who are trained to stop any threats to the city, and the corrupt leaders who will stop at nothing to maintain their power. Along the way, they uncover many secrets about Ecoban's past and the true purpose of the Delos System.

The animation in Wonderful Days is stunning, and the action scenes are exciting and well-choreographed. The movie's soundtrack is also impressive, featuring music from popular Korean artists such as Clazziquai Project and Humming Urban Stereo. The voice acting, both in the original Korean version and the English dub, is excellent, adding to the movie's emotional impact.

Overall, Wonderful Days is a must-see for fans of science fiction and action movies. It has a well-crafted story that is both thought-provoking and emotionally engaging. Despite being an animated film, it deals with mature themes such as environmentalism, corruption, and the consequences of power. Whether you are a fan of animation or not, this movie is a great example of storytelling and is definitely worth watching.
