Watch 9

9 is a creative and interesting look into a post-apocalyptic world that is inhabited by stitched dolls with numbers written on their backs. The protagonist, 9, wakes up in a new world in which he is scared and uncertain of what he is to do with a disk that he finds upon awakening. Throughout the movie, 9 finds other dolls that help him piece together a puzzle to better understand how he came to be where he is.

As 9 travels through this new world, he encounters a variety of obstacles that strike fear into his heart and test his bravery. Throughout his journey, 9 must battle adversaries that get in his way in, as well as friends that he comes to learn are not always as truthful as he had hoped. The more that 9 travels, the more he builds his heroic traits and becomes a more lovable character that viewers begin rooting for as the movie pulls on.

The highlight of 9 is the way that the entire story culminates and connects all of the pieces of the puzzle for quite the surprising conclusion. 9 offers plenty of action, love and compassion, making for a great animated movie.
