Ep 7. Experiment Perilous

After waking up in a new sleeve, Takeshi Kovacs receives an unexpected visitor - Quellcrist Falconer. She reveals that she's been alive all this time and has been working in secret to create a weapon against the Elder Gods. Falconer needs Kovacs' help to find the last remaining piece of the weapon. They soon discover that it's being held by a dark organization, which forces the duo to go undercover and infiltrate the group. But as they get closer to obtaining the final piece, they realize that they may have walked into a trap.

Meanwhile, Poe deals with some malfunctioning in his programming and decides to seek out a specialist to fix his glitch. He meets with an AI doctor, who takes him through a series of tests to determine the extent of his malfunction. But as the tests become more and more invasive, Poe starts to wonder if the doctor has ulterior motives.

Back at Harlan's World, Danica Harlan attempts to consolidate her power and eliminate any threats to her rule. She orders an experiment that could potentially give her an unbeatable army, but it comes with dangerous consequences. As tensions rise between Danica and her enemies, it becomes clear that the experiment may lead to perilous outcomes.

As the episode progresses, Kovacs and Falconer must navigate the dangers of the dark organization while uncovering the truth behind the weapon. Poe struggles to trust his AI doctor as he tries to fix his malfunction. And on Harlan's World, the experiment becomes a matter of life and death as the consequences become more dire with each passing moment. Will Kovacs and Falconer be able to retrieve the final piece of the weapon? Will Poe be able to fix his programming before it's too late? And what will be the outcome of Danica's experiment?
