America Says Season 1 Episode 49 Cyclists vs. high school friends

In this episode of America Says, a group of cyclists face off against a team of high school friends in a battle of wits and trivia knowledge. Hosted by John Michael Higgins, America Says puts two teams of contestants against each other as they attempt to guess the top responses to survey questions asked to 100 Americans.

The Cyclists team is composed of four individuals who all share a passion for cycling. They are led by their team captain, Sarah, who works as a fitness instructor and is known for her competitive spirit and quick reflexes. Her teammates include Ryan, a software engineer with a love for endurance sports; Tina, a marketing specialist who recently completed a 500-mile ride for charity; and Brandon, a physical therapist who enjoys participating in triathlons.

Their opponents, the High School Friends team, are a group of four individuals who have been friends since their high school days. They are led by their team captain, Matt, a lawyer who prides himself on his ability to think on his feet. The rest of his team includes Emily, a stay-at-home mom of four who is known for her encyclopedic knowledge; Brian, a software developer who enjoys playing trivia games in his spare time; and Amanda, a kindergarten teacher who considers herself a bit of a pop culture expert.

Throughout the course of the show, Higgins presents survey questions to both teams and they have to come up with the top five responses given by 100 Americans. For example, one question asked was, "What is something you would do if you won the lottery?" Both teams then have to guess the top five responses, such as "Buy a house" or "Travel the world." The team with the most points at the end of each round moves on to the bonus round but the losing team still gets to take home a cash prize.

As the game progresses, tensions rise as both teams try their best to guess the top survey responses. The Cyclists team shows off their knowledge of fitness and nutrition with questions like "What is a popular pre-workout snack?" The High School Friends team flexes their knowledge of current events and pop culture with questions such as "What is the most popular app for social media?"

Ultimately, it comes down to the bonus round where one team has the opportunity to win up to $15,000. The winning team has to guess ten survey responses in a row without getting one wrong. As they work their way through the questions, the tension in the room is palpable as both teams root for their side to win.
