  • July 2, 2021

America Says is a fast-paced and exciting game show where contestants try to guess the most popular answers to survey questions. In this episode, we see the UCLA Classmates go head-to-head with The Robbins Family in a battle of wits and speed.

The UCLA Classmates are a team of four former college buddies who have stayed close over the years. They are fast-talking and quick-thinking, ready to take on any challenge that comes their way. The Robbins Family, on the other hand, is a close-knit group of five who love to spend time together and compete in friendly games. They are a bit more relaxed than the UCLA Classmates, but they still have plenty of energy and enthusiasm.

As the show begins, the host introduces both teams and explains the rules of the game. Each round consists of a survey question with multiple answers. The team that buzzes in first has the opportunity to guess the most popular answers, earning points for each correct response. If they guess all the answers correctly, they get bonus points.

The first question is "Name a type of cuisine that is popular in America." The UCLA Classmates buzz in first and immediately begin guessing. They start with Italian and move on to Chinese, Mexican, and Indian. They get all four answers correct, earning a total of 400 points. The Robbins Family is up next and manages to guess three of the remaining answers, earning 300 points.

In the next round, the question is "Name something you might find in a first-aid kit." The Robbins Family buzzes in first this time and quickly lists off band-aids, alcohol, and gauze. They earn 300 points for their efforts. The UCLA Classmates manage to guess two additional answers, earning 200 points.

The third question is "Name something you might see in a science fiction movie." This time, the UCLA Classmates buzz in first and confidently guess aliens, spaceships, robots, and laser guns. They get all four answers correct and earn another 400 points. The Robbins Family struggles a bit with this question, only managing to guess two of the remaining answers and earning 200 points.

As the game progresses, both teams prove themselves to be worthy opponents. They go back and forth, each earning points in different rounds. The tension is high as they struggle to guess the most popular answers in each category. Some questions are easier than others, but both teams have to stay on their toes and be ready to buzz in at a moment's notice.

One particularly memorable moment comes when the question is "Name a vegetable that people often put on pizza." The Robbins Family buzzes in first and confidently guess peppers, onions, and mushrooms. However, the UCLA Classmates buzz in and steal the final answer with their guess of olives. The Robbins Family is left stunned and disappointed as the UCLA Classmates celebrate their victory.

Throughout the episode, the host adds to the excitement by keeping the energy level high and encouraging the contestants to have fun. He jokes with them, cheers them on, and congratulates them on their successes.

As the game draws to a close, the tension reaches its peak. Both teams are neck-and-neck in terms of points, and the final question could be the deciding factor in who wins the game. The host asks them to "Name an object that you might find in a dentist's office." The UCLA Classmates buzz in first and guess dental drills, x-ray machines, and chairs. They get all three answers correct, earning a total of 300 points.

The Robbins Family, with one last chance to win the game, lists off a few guesses but ultimately fails to come up with the final answer. The UCLA Classmates come out on top, winning with a final score of 1500 points to the Robbins Family's 1200.

Overall, this episode of America Says is a fun and exciting competition between two talented teams. Their quick thinking, good humor, and competitive spirit make for an entertaining game show that viewers are sure to love.
