The Schumanns and The In-Laws face off in this exciting episode of America Says. Host John Michael Higgins welcomes both teams to the show and explains the rules. The game consists of two rounds, each with three categories, and the team with the most points at the end wins a cash prize.
In the first round, the categories are "Things You Need in a Survival Kit", "Things That Are Cold" and "Types of Flowers". The Schumanns are up first and they work well together, quickly guessing "water" and "flashlight" for the first category. They struggle a bit with the second category but manage to get "ice cream" and "snow" before moving on to the third. They have some difficulty with the flower category, with only "tulip" and "rose" coming to mind.
The In-Laws take their turn and start off strong, getting "food" and "shelter" for the survival kit category. They then easily guess "ice cube" and "popsicle" for the "things that are cold" category before moving on to flowers. They manage to guess "daisy" and "lily", but ultimately fall behind the Schumanns in points.
In the second round, the categories are "Things That Are Sticky", "Things That Make You Happy" and "Musical Instruments". The Schumanns continue to work well together, guessing "honey" and "tape" for the first category and "chocolate" and "love" for the second. They struggle a bit with the musical instruments category but ultimately guess "guitar" and "piano" before their time is up.
The In-Laws have a tougher time in the second round, guessing "glue" and "sap" for the sticky category and "family" and "friends" for the happy category. They also struggle with the musical instruments category and only manage to guess "drums" and "flute".
In the final round, the Schumanns and The In-Laws compete head-to-head in a sudden death round. The category is "Things You Find in an Attic". Both teams struggle with this category, with answers like "boxes" and "dust" being guessed. It ultimately comes down to a tie-breaker question, with the Schumanns coming out on top and taking home the cash prize.
Overall, The Schumanns put on a great performance and proved to be a strong team throughout the game. The In-Laws had their moments but ultimately fell behind in points.
