Yvonne's personal life is further complicated when her husband Gary (Mark Bonnar) discovers a bruise on her arm and questions her about it. Yvonne lies to him, telling him that she got the bruise during a self-defense class. Gary is suspicious but decides to let it go.
Meanwhile, Yvonne's rape case takes a turn when the victim's story begins to unravel. Yvonne and her team discover that the victim has a history of making false accusations and they use this information to undermine her credibility in court.
