The play area is complete with a mini-golf course and a custom-made treehouse designed for the children to explore their creativity and imagination. The lounge area is centered around a gas fire pit with custom-built seating made from pallets and cushions.

The second challenge is to incorporate the family's personal style into the design. The family loves the beach and they have collected seashells and driftwood over the years. The team decides to use these collected items as decoration for the backyard. The seashells are turned into a mosaic for the concrete bar top in the dining area, while the driftwood is used as a decorative element in the lounge area, creating a bohemian vibe with hanging lanterns and macramé plant hangers.
