However, as he listens to their story and tries to offer his assistance, Father Michael is forced to confront a difficult truth about his own past. Meanwhile, Narinder, a young Muslim woman struggling with conflicting feelings about her traditional upbringing and desire for independence, finds herself drawn to a charismatic ex-convict named Andrew.
