Ep 2. Containment

In Cleverman season 1 episode 2, titled "Containment," tensions between humans and Hairies continue to escalate. The government has established a containment zone for Hairies, led by a new character named Jarli, who has been dubbed the "Cleverman" by his people. The zone is heavily guarded by security forces, making it nearly impossible for anyone to leave or enter the area.

Meanwhile, Koen, the show's main protagonist, continues to come to terms with his Aboriginal heritage and the knowledge that he is also part Hairy. He seeks out a spiritual leader to help him better understand his newfound powers and how to control them. His brother, Waruu, on the other hand, sees the Cleverman as a threat to his own plans for power and begins to plot against him.

As tensions boil over in the containment zone, a group of Hairies attempt to escape to freedom. In the chaos that ensues, a human is killed and the Hairies are blamed for the violence. This event only serves to intensify the already strained relationship between humans and Hairies.

Back in the city, the government continues to put pressure on Waruu to help them locate the Cleverman. Despite his reluctance, Waruu begins to look for his brother, and his search takes a dangerous turn.

Overall, Cleverman season 1 episode 2 delves deeper into the political and social turmoil surrounding the Hairies and their fight for equality. With a standout performance from Hunter Page-Lochard as Koen and a gripping storyline, this episode proves to be a strong addition to the series.
