El Mundo de Elmo is the Mexican dub of segments from the English language children's show, Sesame Street. The show is played as a standalone, independent of Sesame Street, as is often the case with international versions of English language shows. As anyone who grew up in the nineties will know, Elmo's World was a popular kid's children show. The show revolved around the strange red creature called Elmo and his crazy crayon world, his interactions with a slapstick, mustached character called Mr. Noodle and, of course, his goldfish. The show is not just random craziness (as many children's cartoons regularly are); it tends to have a general message or information which it seeks to impart each episode. The episodes themselves are usually one word titles, such as Cat, Nose, Violin. Elmo also plays the piano and sings and this may work for younger children but it may just drive you into a mental ward if repeated one too many times in one sitting.
