Round 1 of the elimination will see families having 1 hour to cook one dish featuring Tom's favourite ingredient - Chillies. The 2nd round will give families 2 hours to recreate the classic family feast - Holiday Feast. The Butlers win round 1 as they Panayidies needed more chilli in their dish. Butler's go into round 2 with a 3 point lead

Families have 1 hour and 40 minutes to recreate the Kylie Kwong's Feast. They each have a precise recipe in their cookbooks, they will be cooking in pairs in a Family Food Fight Recipe Relay. Whoever cooks the least impressive dish will join the Butlers in the next elimination.

Families have 2 hours to make High Tea for 20 CWA ladies. Each family must make 6 different High Tea treats, both sweet and savoury, including the perfect lamington. Their lamingtons must also be made to CWA competition standards. Matt, Anna, Hayden and Tom will be tasting their food, but the CWA ladies will be voting - whoever gets the most votes wins

Matt welcomes the families into the kitchen and tells them they will be cooking for a kids party. Families have 90 minutes to cook enough for 100 kids, they must cook both sweet and savoury, and one of the dishes must feature Brussels Sprouts

Families will have 2 hours to recreate Matt Moran's Meat & Three Vege. They each have a precise recipe in their cookbooks, but they will be cooking in pairs in a Family Food Fight Recipe Relay. Whoever cooks the least impressive dish will join the Sheppards in the next eliminatio.

February 3, 2017

Families drive to a mystery town, all speculating on what they are doing. Matt welcomes families to Kyneton, a huge foodie town. Families must cook a 2 course meal for 100 locals, plus the judges and special guest Tim Foster from Source Dining, the local hatted restaurant. They will be collecting fresh produce, and will only have 1 protein to cook with - chicken.

January 28, 2017

Matt, Anna and Hayden are today's judges. Matt tells contestants that today their surprise guests are bringing the ingredients that they'll need to cook with - a group of 30 farmers enter FFF kitchen carrying produce. Contestants have 2 hours to cook a two course vegetarian feast for 30 farmers and they must featur an ingredient the farmers brought in.

Matt reveals they have two chances to save themselves as the elimination will take place over two rounds. Matt tells contestants in round 1, only two people from each family will be cooking, they pick their two best cooks before the challenge is revealed.

Families have 4 hours to recreate Anna's Chocolate Cake. They each have a precise recipe in their cook books, but they will be cooking in pairs in a Family Food Fight Recipe Relay. One two people from each family can cook at any one time, the other family members must wait outside, swapping every hours until time is up.

Matt meets them at Welcome to Thornbury, Melbourne's only food truck park. Matt reveals each family will be cooking in a food truck for over 500 hungry punters
