Ep 10. A Giant Leap

In Fuller House season 1 episode 10, titled "A Giant Leap," D.J. and Steve plan a 70s-themed party, but D.J. gets nervous about seeing Steve and decides to bring a date. Meanwhile, Stephanie and Kimmy join a ballet class where Stephanie is determined to become the star pupil, but her lack of grace proves to be a challenge. The episode starts with D.J. and Steve going through old photos and reminiscing about their past together. Steve suggests throwing a 70s-themed party to relive their youth, but D.J. is hesitant because she doesn't want to give Steve the wrong idea about their relationship. She decides to bring Matt, a colleague from work, as her date to the party.

Stephanie and Kimmy join a ballet class together, but Stephanie quickly realizes that she lacks grace and coordination. Frustrated, she tries to practice in secret and even enlists the help of a professional dancer to improve, but her efforts still fall short. Meanwhile, Kimmy shines in the class and becomes the star pupil, which only adds to Stephanie's irritation.

Max decides to impress his crush Taylor by performing a magic show at the party, but things don't go as planned. His magic tricks fail, and he ends up embarrassing himself in front of everyone. Jackson and Ramona, who have been at odds with each other, try to improve their relationship by being completely honest about their feelings. However, this leads to unexpected consequences that neither of them could have predicted.

The party itself is a wild affair, with everyone dressed in 70s attire and grooving to disco music. D.J. and Matt hit it off, but Steve is clearly jealous and tries to win D.J. back throughout the night. Stephanie, on the other hand, finally has a breakthrough in her ballet class and impresses her teacher with her newfound grace.

In the end, D.J. decides to stay true to herself and tells Steve that she values their friendship, but doesn't want to pursue a romantic relationship with him. Steve takes the rejection gracefully and they both agree to remain friends. Meanwhile, Max learns a valuable lesson about being true to himself and not trying too hard to impress others. And finally, Jackson and Ramona both come to a deeper understanding of each other and resolve their issues.
