After the success of Fuller House season 1, fans couldn't wait to see what the Tanner-Fuller-Gibbler clan would get up to in season 2. The second episode of the season, entitled Mom Interference, follows D.J. Tanner-Fuller (Candace Cameron Bure) as she struggles with balancing her role as a single mom and her new job as a veterinarian.

The episode opens with D.J. trying to convince her soon-to-be ex-husband, Tommy (Ethan Hurlburt), to let their kids, Jackson (Michael Campion) and Max (Elias Harger), spend more time at her house. Tommy is hesitant, but after a heartfelt conversation, he agrees to let the boys stay with D.J. on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Meanwhile, D.J.'s sister Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) is dealing with her own issues as a new aunt. She's become obsessed with taking care of baby Tommy Jr. and wants to make sure he has the best of everything, even if that means going behind D.J.'s back.

As if that wasn't enough drama, Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) is dealing with her own parental problems. Her estranged mother, Sandra (Guest star Fátima Ptacek), comes to town and tries to insert herself into Kimmy's life - and her daughter Ramona's (Soni Bringas) life - much to Kimmy's chagrin.

As the title suggests, Mom Interference is all about the challenges that come with family. D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy all have to navigate the unique relationships they have with their own mothers - or lack thereof - while also dealing with their roles as mothers themselves.

Throughout the episode, we see D.J. struggle to balance her work life and her home life. When a patient's surgery takes much longer than expected, she's forced to cancel her plans to spend time with her sons. At first, she's devastated, but she eventually realizes that she can't be everything to everyone all the time. It's a lesson that many working mothers can relate to and it's great to see the show explore this theme in such a relatable way.

Meanwhile, Stephanie's obsession with baby Tommy Jr. leads her to make some questionable decisions, including buying him an expensive outfit without D.J.'s approval. She eventually realizes that being an aunt is different than being a mother and that she needs to respect D.J.'s boundaries.

As for Kimmy, she has to deal with the fallout of her mother's surprise visit. Sandra tries to take over planning Ramona's upcoming quinceañera, much to Kimmy's displeasure. Eventually, Kimmy realizes that she needs to address her feelings about her mother head-on and the two have a heart-to-heart that leads to a satisfying resolution.

One of the standout moments of the episode is when D.J., Stephanie, and Kimmy all come together to help Ramona practice her quinceañera dance. It's a sweet moment that shows just how much the three women have grown since the original Full House, and it's clear that their bond is just as strong as ever.

Overall, Mom Interference is a great addition to Fuller House season 2. It manages to tackle some complex family dynamics while also delivering plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments. Fans of the original show will surely appreciate seeing the Tanner-Fuller-Gibbler clan back together again, and newcomers to the series will quickly fall in love with the characters and their charming antics.
