Grace and Frankie is a comedy-drama series that follows two unlikely friends who are brought together after their husbands reveal that they are gay and leave them to marry each other. As Grace's video shoot progresses, she begins to open up about her life in ways that she never has before. She talks candidly about her childhood, her failed marriages, and her regrets. However, her vulnerability makes her uneasy and she begins to question whether she should continue with the project at all.
The video also causes tension between Grace and Frankie, as Grace becomes increasingly absorbed in the project and Frankie feels left out. She starts to wonder whether their friendship is really as strong as she thought it was and begins to re-evaluate her own priorities.
