The doctor tells them about a mage who may have a cure for the illness, but he warns them that the mage is also responsible for causing the illness in the first place.

The group decides to seek out the mage in the hopes of getting the cure and finding information about the grimoire. They eventually find the mage, a powerful and feared sorceress named Sorena, who initially refuses to help them. However, after negotiating with her, they are able to make a deal and she agrees to give them the cure.

While waiting for the cure to be prepared, the group discovers that Sorena has her own agenda and is involved in some questionable activities. They also learn more about the grimoire and the potential consequences of finding it. As the episode comes to a close, the group is left with a difficult decision to make.
