The episode then takes a dark turn as we travel to the ruins of Denbigh Asylum. Once a state-of-the-art mental hospital, Denbigh Asylum has stood abandoned for decades. But the ghosts of its former patients and staff are said to still linger in the terrifying and decaying buildings.

Historic Hauntings explores the heartbreaking history of the hospital and the stories of the ghosts that are said to haunt its halls. The team interviews former employees and patients, and even spends the night in the asylum, attempting to capture evidence of the paranormal.

Finally, we end our journey in the shadow of the majestic Snowdonia Mountains at the Plas Yn Rhiw Manor. This beautiful National Trust property is said to be haunted by the ghosts of its former residents, including the tragic tale of a young girl who died of a broken heart.
