When an Indian couple, Kunal and Kabir, move to Salt Lake City, Utah, they find themselves struggling to communicate with their son, Kabir. Kabir is deaf and the couple finds themselves struggling to find resources to help their son. Initially, the couple decide to enroll Kabir in a school for deaf children, but it doesn't provide them with much support.

As a result, Kunal and Kabir begin to learn American Sign Language (ASL) and soon become involved in the deaf community. They learn about the importance of advocating for their son's rights and being actively involved in his education. Meanwhile, Kabir shows incredible strength and resilience, embracing his deafness and refusing to let it hold him back.

The episode explores themes of communication, identity, and the challenges of navigating a new culture. It highlights the struggles of immigrant families in the US and the importance of inclusivity and accessibility for people with disabilities.
