A mysterious and deadly rival thief named Amadeo is also after the diamond and will stop at nothing to get it. Lupin III and his team must now work together to outsmart Amadeo and keep the diamond out of his hands.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Lupin III and Amadeo cross paths, setting the stage for the second part of the story in the next episode.
