Danny Rand, the billionaire-turned-superhero known as the Iron Fist, is back for season 2 of Marvel's Iron Fist. And in episode 1, titled The Fury of the Iron Fist, he's picked up right where he left off.
Following the events of season 1 and the team-up with Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage in The Defenders, Danny has returned to New York City to reclaim his family's company, Rand Enterprises, and rebuild it in his own image. He's also honing his skills as the Iron Fist, training with Colleen Wing and seeking out allies in the criminal underworld.
But trouble is brewing in the city, as a new threat emerges in the form of Davos, a former friend and fellow student of K'un-Lun who also trained to become the Iron Fist. Jealous of Danny's position and the power it brings, Davos has returned to New York with an army of loyal followers, determined to take the Iron Fist for himself.
As Danny and Colleen investigate the rising crime and violence in the city, they soon find themselves facing off against Davos and his followers. Meanwhile, Joy Meachum, a former ally and now rival of Danny's, is also positioning herself in the fight for Rand Enterprises. With the help of her brother Ward, she's working to sabotage Danny's efforts and take control of the company for herself.
As tensions mount and the battle for power and control intensifies, Danny and Colleen must find a way to stop Davos and his followers, protect the city from harm, and maintain their own positions as heroes and protectors.
