Just when they are about to give up hope, they meet a kindly old woman who tells them the secret to finding Sock Heaven. They must climb the highest hill in the village and look for a path that leads to a hidden doorway. With renewed energy, Milly and Molly set off on their adventure once again.

After a difficult climb, the girls find the hidden entrance to Sock Heaven. They are amazed by what they see inside the door: thousands of socks filling the room from floor to ceiling. And, as if by magic, they begin to see their missing socks appearing before their eyes.

Milly and Molly are overjoyed at having found Sock Heaven. But they realize that they can't keep all these socks for themselves. They must find a way to share the wealth with others who are missing their socks as well.

Back in the village, the two girls meet with a group of their friends. They excitedly announce that they have found Sock Heaven and that they have so many socks to give away. Everyone is delighted, and soon pairs of socks are being distributed to their rightful owners.

In the end, Milly and Molly learn that sometimes the best way to find something that is lost is to never give up hope. And, they learn the joy of sharing with others and how even the smallest things can make a big difference.
