In the Numberjacks season 1 episode 20, titled "The Container Drainer," the Numberjacks are faced with a problem in the world of liquids. Something is causing all the liquid containers in the world to become empty, even when they were just filled up. The Numberjacks set out to find the cause behind this strange phenomenon and stop it before it creates chaos.
The Numberjacks start their investigation as usual, by reviewing the problem board and watching footage of the strange liquid disappearance. They find that all the containers seem to be losing their liquid at the same rate, which is much faster than usual. The Numberjacks decide to divide and conquer the problem, as always, with each Numberjack taking on a specific task.
Number 1 starts by analyzing the footage of the disappearing liquid using her super-powered computer. She discovers that the rate of liquid loss is increasing exponentially, which means that the containers will become empty very quickly. Meanwhile, Number 2 looks at the containers themselves to see if she can find any clues. She discovers that all the containers have the same type of seam, which makes her think that the problem is related to the seam.
Number 3, on the other hand, investigates the liquid itself, hoping to find some clues there. She measures the temperature, the pressure, and the viscosity of the liquid, but finds nothing unusual. However, she does notice that the viscosity is changing rapidly, which suggests that something is happening to the liquid on a molecular level.
Number 4 decides to investigate the seam itself. She uses her super-strength to try and pull apart the seam of a container, but finds that it's much stronger than usual. She concludes that something must be holding the seam together more tightly than normal, which is causing it to break open much faster.
Finally, Number 5 investigates the source of the liquid, hoping to find some clues there. She discovers that all the liquids come from the same place, a factory that produces all types of liquids. She decides to fly there to investigate further.
Once at the factory, Number 5 discovers that the machines that produce the liquids are malfunctioning. They are creating a sticky substance that is clogging up the machines and causing them to overheat. This sticky substance is then dripping onto the containers, making the seams stick together more tightly than normal. Number 5 quickly calls the other Numberjacks for backup.
The Numberjacks all work together to stop the malfunctioning machines and clean up the sticky substance. Once they've fixed the machines, the containers start filling up normally again, and the seams stop sticking together. The Numberjacks save the day once again!
