Ep 3. My Dripping Sleep

Marty wants to use the Blue Cat as a legitimate business to launder money but to do that he needs to convince local business owners to invest in his venture. However, convincing them may be harder than he thought. Meanwhile, Wendy tries to find a job in order to make money for the family. She starts working at a local restaurant and soon finds herself in a flirting game with her boss. She also tries to find ways to keep the family’s financial situation under control, including selling their possessions. When Charlotte’s boyfriend Wyatt visits the Byrdes, he seems to be interested in becoming part of the family’s criminal enterprise. At the same time, his cousin Ruth Langmore seeks Marty’s help in getting her father out of jail. Marty agrees to help, but he has his own motives for doing so. The FBI agent Roy Petty continues his investigation, and he may be closer to finding out the truth than Marty had anticipated. The episode titled "My Dripping Sleep" is full of tension as the Byrdes work to keep their plan on track while dealing with a host of challenges that threaten to expose their criminal enterprise.
