Ep 8. The Big Sleep

In the eighth episode of Ozark's second season titled "The Big Sleep," Marty finds himself in a tricky situation as he tries to navigate his way out of trouble with the cartel and keep his family safe. In addition to all of this, the FBI is closing in on the Byrdes and their operation. Agent Petty is back and he's hot on the trail of the cartel's money laundering scheme. He's also using information he's gathered to try to coerce Ruth into turning on the Byrdes and feeding him more intel. All of this is taking a toll on Ruth's mental health and causing her to second guess her loyalties.

As the episode progresses, tensions continue to rise and everyone is left on edge. Marty finally gets the call he's been waiting for from Navarro, but it's not quite the conversation he was hoping for. Wendy is having her own crisis of conscience as she thinks about the future of their family. Ruth is struggling to keep control and avoid getting sucked into Petty's web.

Overall, "The Big Sleep" sets the stage for the rest of the season and leaves audiences on the edge of their seats as the Byrdes and their associates face mounting pressure from every angle.
