Put Your Head on My Shoulder Season 1 Episode 6 Episode 6

Cheng Youqing is struggling to find a topic for his thesis as he is feeling discouraged from being rejected so many times. He confides in Si Tu Mo and she encourages him to keep trying and to not give up.

Meanwhile, Si Tu Mo's mother is pressuring her to find a boyfriend and even sets up a date for her with a man from a wealthy family. Si Tu Mo reluctantly agrees to go on the date, but ends up getting stood up by the man. Cheng Youqing finds out about the situation and offers to take Si Tu Mo out to make her feel better. They bump into Si Tu Mo's ex-boyfriend, who is now engaged to another woman, and they both feel a little down.

Despite feeling down, Cheng Youqing tries his best to cheer up Si Tu Mo and they end up having a fun night together. Cheng Youqing even helps Si Tu Mo take care of her drunken younger brother. Throughout the night, Si Tu Mo realizes how kind and caring Cheng Youqing is and starts to develop feelings for him.

The next day, Cheng Youqing decides to take Si Tu Mo to visit his hometown and they spend the day exploring and learning more about each other. Cheng Youqing gets a call from his professor, who invites him to participate in a research project in Germany. Cheng Youqing is excited about the opportunity but also worries about leaving Si Tu Mo behind.

As they return from their trip, Si Tu Mo must face her mother's disappointment about not finding a boyfriend and Cheng Youqing must make a decision about whether or not to take the research opportunity in Germany. The episode ends with Si Tu Mo and Cheng Youqing reflecting on their day together and contemplating their growing feelings for each other.
