RWBY Season 6 Episode 8 Episode 8
- April 8, 2023
After the events of the previous episode, Team RWBY and their allies are left in a precarious situation. They must deal with the aftermath of their battle with Cordovin and the appearance of the Leviathan Grimm, while also searching for a way to take down Salem and her forces once and for all.
As the episode begins, tensions within the group are high. Ruby is struggling to come to terms with her own leadership skills, while Blake and Yang try to process their feelings for one another. Meanwhile, Weiss and Jaune work together to fix one of the damaged airships.
The group decides to split up in order to accomplish their goals. Ruby and Oscar stay behind to work on the communications tower, hoping to contact the rest of their allies. Meanwhile, Blake, Yang, and Maria head off in search of the Relic of Knowledge.
Meanwhile, Weiss and Jaune run into unexpected trouble on their mission. They come face to face with a group of Grimm, including a powerful Alpha Beowolf. Despite their best efforts, they are unable to defeat the creature. It takes the intervention of a mysterious stranger - a young girl with a powerful semblance - to turn the tide of the battle.
As the two groups continue on their separate paths, it becomes clear that they all have their own demons to face. Blake and Yang must finally confront their feelings for one another, while Ruby begins to realize the true weight of her responsibilities as a leader.
Back at the communications tower, Ruby and Oscar are forced to confront their own fears and insecurities. They must work together to repair the tower and get the message out to their allies, all while dealing with their own doubts about whether or not they are up to the task.
As the episode draws to a close, it becomes clear that the group's struggles are far from over. They must continue to work together and fight for what they believe in if they are to stand a chance against Salem and her forces. But even as they face overwhelming odds, they are determined to never give up. For they know that together, they are stronger than they could ever be alone.
