Ep 1. Brett Venom, M.D./Laugh Quake

In Sanjay and Craig Season 1 Episode 1 "Brett Venom, M.D./Laugh Quake", Sanjay Patel, an energetic and adventurous 12-year-old boy, introduces his best friend, a talking purple snake named Craig, to his family. Sanjay's mother is a doctor at a hospital, and Sanjay hopes to someday follow in her footsteps. He and Craig spend their days exploring their suburban neighborhood and getting into all kinds of wacky hijinks.

In the first segment of this episode, "Brett Venom, M.D.," Sanjay and Craig pay a visit to a new kid in town who claims to be a doctor. Brett gives Sanjay and Craig a tour of his medical clinic, which is located in his treehouse. He shows them all kinds of weird and wacky medical equipment, and Sanjay is especially interested in a machine that lets you see inside people's stomachs.

When Sanjay starts feeling sick, he decides to put Brett's medical degrees to the test and asks him to diagnose him. But when Brett falsely diagnoses him with a rare disease called "Snakeskin Fever," Sanjay realizes that Brett might not be the real deal. He and Craig devise a plan to expose Brett as a fraud, but things get a bit hairy when Brett becomes angry and starts chasing them.

In the second segment of the episode, "Laugh Quake," Sanjay and Craig attend a comedy festival in their town with hopes of seeing their favorite comedian, Hector Flanagan. When they arrive, they discover that all of the tickets are sold out. But Sanjay is determined to see Hector perform, so he and Craig sneak into the festival disguised as security guards.

While they're backstage, Sanjay and Craig run into Hector Flanagan himself, who mistakes them for the real security guards. He asks them to help him with a problem he's having: he's lost his lucky prop, a rubber chicken that he uses in his act. Sanjay and Craig offer to help him find it, and their search takes them all over the festival grounds.

As they search for the chicken, Sanjay and Craig unwittingly cause all kinds of chaos and hilarity. They bump into other comedians, cause a pileup in the parking lot, and accidentally release a bunch of chickens into the festival. But in the end, they manage to find Hector's rubber chicken just in time for him to perform his act.
