Strawberry Shortcake Berry Bitty Adventures season 1 episode 13 "On Ice" follows the beloved characters of Strawberryland as they prepare for the Berry Bitty City skating festival. When Plum Pudding injures her foot during a skating rehearsal, it seems like the show may have to be cancelled. However, the girls come up with the idea to turn the festival into a winter market to benefit Plum's bakery. They go all out with holiday decorations and start selling baked goods, gifts, and ice skates.

Meanwhile, the Peculiar Purple Pieman of Porcupine Peak is up to no good once again. He sees an opportunity to sabotage the market and make a profit for himself by selling fake ice skates. He sends Berrykin Bloom and Berrykin Bruce to spread the word about the ice skates, pretending to be skating experts. The Berrykins even convince Blueberry Muffin to buy a pair, though they end up being poorly made and cause her to slip and fall on the ice.

The girls start to suspect something is fishy when they see the Pieman snooping around the market. Strawberry Shortcake, being the smart and resourceful leader that she is, sets a trap to catch the Pieman in the act of selling the fake skates. With the help of Raspberry Torte and her amazing costume designs, Strawberry disguises herself as a customer interested in buying a pair of skates. When the Pieman approaches her, she reveals her true identity and exposes his scam.

The episode culminates in a delightful winter skating scene, where the girls perform a beautiful routine together and show off their festive skating costumes. Even Plum Pudding, who has to sit out of the skating due to her injury, joins in on the fun by setting up a hot cocoa stand. The market is a success, and everyone has a great time celebrating the holiday season.
