Aisha, whose resilience and strength has kept her family together, is a successful professional woman with her own veterinary business. Entering her forties, she is assailed by doubts about her marriage and future. The slap at the barbecue has left her torn, her loyalties divided between her husband and one of her oldest friends, Rosie. Hector and Aisha take a holiday in Byron Bay and confront the demons of their marriage and family life. At the end of the holiday a choice has to be made between her love for her husband and her loyalty to her friend.
