After hearing a couple of people's stories, Genesis become emotionally overwhelmed. To cheer her up, they visit Charlie who runs a zoo/sanctuary that's home to 100 exotic rescue animals.

Dr Kwane meets Tammy and her two friends Maddie the dog and Boogie the cat. A boy named Shay, his mother and their dog Shilo have been living in and out of their car for months. Shilo has a hernia.

Skid Row is home to the largest concentration of homeless in the USA. Dr Kwane meets Walter and his dog Dinker, who has a very rare condition. Walter refuses surgery but agrees to a management plan.

When Kwane gives Goldie the dog a health check, his owner becomes overwhelmed with emotion, talking about how hard life is on the streets. Kwane is on the search for a vet-technician to help him out.

Kwane meets a Dachshund whose eyes are cloudy. Tank was rescued from being a bait dog. His owners are worried about his recent weight loss. Shadow the dog was in a fight and has a fresh cut on his ear.

4. Barbara's Birds

Barbara needs to put her cockatoos into temporary boarding so she can find them a new home, but the required tests are very expensive. Kwane meets James and his dog Ladybird, who is limping.

3. Andre & Kuma

Kuma the puppy lives on the streets and needs to be vaccinated, neutered and trained. Michael and his dog Presley live in a shelter, Michael is worried a lump in Presley's neck could be cancerous.

Bill lives in a tent with his dog Eli, who has entropion and skin tumours. Kwane meets a young lady named Whitney and her dog Bummer. Dr Kwane is astounded to hear their unfortunate life story.

Um the cat has been hit by a car and her diaphragm is ruptured. Mamas the terrier has been spayed, however the sutures weren't removed, and skin has started to grow over.
