No Mercy 1999 (U.K Edition) was the fifteenth pay-per-view (PPV) event in the WWE series, and the sixth episode of the series' fifteenth season. It took place on October 17, 1999, at the Gund Arena in Cleveland, Ohio, in front of a live audience.

The event featured nine matches, including a main event match for the WWE Championship between Triple H and Steve Austin. In addition, several other WWE superstars had the opportunity to compete in matches for various titles and championships, including the Intercontinental Championship, the European Championship, and the Hardcore Championship.

The opening match of the night was a tag team match between Val Venis and Mark Henry and The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young. The match was primarily used as a comedic introduction to the event, with the aged female wrestlers attempting to outwit and outmaneuver their male opponents. The match ended with Venis and Henry winning after Val pinned Mae Young.

The second match of the night was for the WWE European Championship. The champion, D'Lo Brown, defended his title against The British Bulldog. D'Lo emerged victorious, retaining his title after a top rope frog splash.

The third match of the night featured a six-man tag team match between The Hollys, Al Snow, and Steve Blackman, and The Headbangers and The Acolytes. The match was a brawl from start to finish, with the six competitors battling it out both in and out of the ring. The Headbangers and The Acolytes came out victorious, with Bradshaw hitting a Clothesline From Hell on Al Snow for the pin.

The fourth match was for the WWE Hardcore Championship, with the champion, The Big Boss Man, defending his title against Al Snow. The match was a no disqualification match, allowing both competitors to use any weapon they could find. The match eventually spilled out into the audience, with Al Snow hitting The Big Boss Man with a fire extinguisher and a shopping cart. The match ended with Al Snow pinning The Big Boss Man outside of the ring, becoming the new Hardcore Champion.

The fifth match of the night featured a "casket match" between The Undertaker and "The Rock" Dwayne Johnson. The match was intense from the beginning, with both superstars using a variety of moves to try and put their opponent into the casket. In the end, The Undertaker emerged victorious, slamming The Rock into the casket and closing the lid.

The sixth match was a tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The champions, The New Age Outlaws, defended their titles against Hardcore Holly and Crash Holly. The match was fast-paced and action-packed, but The New Age Outlaws came out on top, with Road Dogg pinning Crash Holly after hitting him with a Fame-Asser.

The seventh match was another title match, this time for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The champion, Jeff Jarrett, defended his title against Chyna. The match was unique in that it featured both male and female competitors, which was still a relatively new concept in professional wrestling. Despite a valiant effort from Chyna, Jeff Jarrett emerged victorious, retaining his title after hitting Chyna with a guitar.

The penultimate match of the night was a "triple threat" match for the WWE Women's Championship. The champion, Ivory, defended her title against Luna Vachon and Jacqueline. The match was a frenzy of activity, with all three competitors trading moves and near falls. In the end, Ivory was able to retain her title, pinning Luna Vachon after hitting her with a bulldog.

The final match of the night was the main event, pitting Triple H against Steve Austin for the WWE Championship. The match was intense from the beginning, with both superstars trading blows and trying to gain the upper hand. At one point, Austin hit Triple H with a piledriver, but Triple H was able to kick out and regain control of the match. In the end, Triple H emerged victorious, pinning Steve Austin after hitting him with a Pedigree.

Overall, No Mercy 1999 (U.K Edition) was a thrilling event, featuring a wide variety of matches and superstars. Fans of professional wrestling were treated to an exciting night of action and drama, with several titles and championships on the line.
