Augustine is a movie about woman named Augustine, who becomes paralyzed on the right side of her body, after experiencing a terrible seizure. Augustine works as a maid in the kitchen, but is sent away to Pitie-Salptriere in Paris. There she meets Dr. Charcot after experiencing a seizure that seems to give her sexual indulgence. Dr. Charcot becomes attracted to her, as he conducts experiments on her in front of other doctors.
