This documentary of biographical proportions follows the Civil War service of William Bartlett. The soldier was wounded several times in battle and rejoined the conflict every time. Furthermore, he lost part of his leg and still managed to lead his troops to victory. The film chronicles the injuries and brushes with death the soldier encountered, and sheds some light on how he survived every time.
