Curly is a 1947 movie featuring the Our Gang cast members. The basic plot focuses on a group of schoolchildren lead by Curley ( Larry Olsen). They kids take delight in tormenting their teacher Miss Johnson (Francis Rafferty). Miss Johnson is chosen to replace a teacher who leaves her teaching post to get married. The former teacher as beloved by her colleagues and her students. Curly organizes his fellow students make Miss Johnson’s job miserable. In doing so they hope they can get their old teacher back. The Our Gang series was cutting edge in that it featured an integrated cast of black and white child actors.
