Watch Grinders

In this movie an out of work filmmaker plays poker to try and support his wife and child. It is also an inside look at the world of illegal poker clubs and the way some people try to make a living in this unconventional line of work. The film takes viewers to Las Vegas and shows the competitive world of poker tournaments. It also interviews many of the players and the boom and bust mentality of gambling for a living. Some of the players have been very successful and they live in mansions. Others have not been as lucky and it shows them contacting debt collectors to try and get extensions on their loans.

Grinders is a 2011 documentary with a runtime of 52 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 5.6.
