"Inuk" is a story of a trip from southern Greenland to its north in homage to the Inuit people. This serves as the coming-of-age ritual for Inuk, a teenager raised in Nuuk and torn between his violent drunkard parents and his aspirations of starting a rock music group. After being placed into foster care, Inuk is sent to train under a bear hunter named Ikuma. However, Ikuma has started to doubt his merit in a world of warming climates. Inuk's initiation begins with learning to hunt seals, bringing him in contact with Naja, a rebellious female.
