Main Hoon Na

Written and directed by Farah Khan, Main Hoon Na is a Bollywood action comedy. The film follows the story of Project Milaap, an initiative that could end long standing animosity between India and Pakistan through the release of prisoners from each country back to their homes. General Bakshi and Brigadier Sharma support the project while ex-Indian soldier turned terrorist Raghavan holds a grudge against Pakistan because of his son's murder there. Raghavan tries to assassinate the general only to be thwarted by Sharma and his son Ram. Sharma is fatally injured and informs his son, while dying, that he had another son that he wants Ram to reunite with.

Ram is assigned to a Darjeeling college to protect Bakshi's daughter Sanjana from threats made by Raghavan. He accepts the assignment once he learns that his estranged brother is also a student there. He enrolls pretending to be a student and tries to get close to his brother Lakshman, known as Lucky. Lucky is close friends with Sanjana, who is in love with him. Ram forges a friendship with Bakshi's daughter, Lucky and his mother, and begins a romantic relationship with a chemistry teacher. One of Raghavan's men, Khan, comes to try to kill Sanjana's friend but Ram stops him and interrogates him, earning his trust.

When they learn Ram's true identity as the product of Sharma's adulterous relationship, Lucky and his mother cut him out of their lives. Raghavan attacks the college and takes several students hostage. Ram confronts him and Khan joins him, only to be murdered by Raghavan. Ram fights Raghavan in a prolonged battle that allows for the successful completion of Project Milaap while Raghavan is distracted. Ram kills Raghavan in an explosion but escapes himself with the help of his brother, who has forgiven him. The pair fulfills their father's dying wish of having his ashes buried by his reunited family.
