This documentary movie focuses on a rare bird in New York City. In 1993, a young Belgium man was in Central Park. He spotted a red tailed hawk and followed it home. He then bought a video camera and began documenting the life of this rare city creature. The birdís nesting place was a co-op in a rich neighborhood on Fifth Avenue. The citizens of the city named the bird Pale Male, and it became a tourist attraction. This film follows the bird, and the young man, through nearly twenty years of their lives. It documents the extraordinary conditions of living in this mega city.
