Worst. 'Bachelorette.' Ever. Literally

Worst. 'Bachelorette.' Ever. Literally If you've been following our episode recaps of this season's "The Bachelorette," you know that things have been a touch hard to watch at times, with plenty of gimmicks, unsavory characters and persistent whining from Bachelorette Ashley Hebert.

Last night's grand finale wrapped things up in a not so grand fashion, drawing an audience that couldn't even beat out a cooking show from Britain's most profane chef in its most coveted market.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, "Monday's ending, which rated a 2.7, was the lowest-rated 'Bachelorette' finale ever. Fox's 'Hell's Kitchen' tied 'The Bachelorette' in the key 18-49 demo, and it was down 8 percent from last week (Fox's 'MasterChef' was also down 4 percent). Fox came in second."

Not only were the ratings for the finale of "The Bachelorette" dissapointing, but the they were extremely unkind to the season in general.

"Overall, Hebert's 'Bachelorette' was the lowest-rated cycle ever," said THR, which doesn't much surprise us given the overall sense of dissatisfaction from fans (and our own writer Sleepless Colin, who recaps the show) and the disgust they've shown at the rather brutal way Hebert treated many of her eagerly pursuing Bachelors.
