Is Charlie Sheen Back With a Brand New Series? Plus: How Will 'Two and a Half Men' Kill Him Off? On the same day that rumors leaked that Charlie Sheen has lost his remaining "Goddess," Natalie Kenly, an article from RadarOnline that has been reprinted breathlessly across the web claims that not only is Sheen coming back, but he's got a lucrative new TV deal and is engaged in a bidding war with several networks.

"The embattled star has inked a deal for a new sitcom with Lionsgate Television and with a bidding war underway he is set to make more money than ever," according to the gossip site.

"Networks and cable are bidding on the show right now, with TBS being the front runner. TBS recently expanded their comedy division with the acquisition of 'Conan' after his fall out with NBC. Plus cable makes more sense because it offers more creative freedom," said RadarOnline's unnamed source.

"In other words the show can be raunchier and more outrageous, which is perfect for Charlie!"

Of course, when it comes to Sheen, it pays to ask a few questions. Like 'what do the networks have to say'?

In the case of TBS, it's a no-go.

“TBS is not in discussions for a possible project with Charlie Sheen,” a network rep definitively told USA Today, and a Lionsgate rep would not confirm the story.

So either Sheen's team is spinning or the networks are keeping their cards close to the vest. Either way, we'd bet heavily against Sheen being out of the spotlight for too long, but might suggest he makes damn sure he's got ahold of the whole "sobriety" before launching into another full-time project, as there's a big difference between showing up to a stage and shooting form the hip about your problems and performing on a highly rated network series on the regs.

One other interesting story from a sometimes qustionable source today about Sheen: TMZ reported that Sheen's character will reportedly be killed off by creator Chuck Lorre in the new season of "Two and a Half Men," making way for Ashton Kutcher.

How will Sheen's character Charlie Harper die? Choking in his own vomit due to a serious drug overdose? Dropping dead in the middle of a five way orgy with a room full of frisky bunnies? Nope.

"Although the first show won't be filmed until August 5, producers have been kicking around scenarios, which include Charlie driving a car over a cliff," said the website.

Given the recent Ryan Dunn tragedy, maybe they should come up with a new plotline.
