Watch 10 Questions for the Dalai Lama
- 1 hr 25 min
Filmmaker and explorer Rick Ray takes viewers on a journey through time and space in this look at Tibetan Buddhism and its spiritual leader. He mixes archival film of independent Tibet, before it was invaded by China in the late 1950s, with recent videos of Tibet that were recorded secretly. Once Ray reaches the exiled government's headquarters in Dharamsala, India, and gains an audience with the Dalai Lama, he asks him questions like: How can one stay committed to nonviolence when confronted by violence? The answers are simple and profound.
