19 - Nineteen is a South Korean mystery/thriller film, directed by Jang Yong-woo and starring T.O.P. (Choi Seung-hyun) from the K-pop band Big Bang, and actors Seungri and Huh E-jae. It was released in 2009. The story revolves around three teenagers, Seo Jung-hoon (T.O.P.), Park Min-seo (Seungri), and Cha Eun-young (Huh E-jae), who accidentally witness a murder while on a trip to the mountains. The victim, a young woman, is found dead in a stream, but the killer is nowhere to be found. The three friends are traumatized by what they saw, but they decide to keep it a secret out of fear for their own safety.

However, things take a turn for the worse when the police start investigating the case, and the three friends become the prime suspects in the murder. The cinematography is beautiful, with stunning shots of the Korean countryside and its autumnal colors.

What makes the movie stand out is the strong performances from its young cast. T.O.P. is particularly impressive, bringing a brooding intensity to his role as Jung-hoon, the troubled teenager who forms the emotional core of the movie. Seungri, in his acting debut, is also excellent as the more outgoing and carefree Min-seo, while Huh E-jae shines as the compassionate and intelligent Eun-young.

The film also explores themes of friendship, loyalty, and the consequences of our actions. It raises questions about the morality of keeping secrets and the importance of standing up for what is right, even when it is difficult or dangerous. Ultimately, 19 - Nineteen is a satisfying and thought-provoking thriller that will leave you guessing until the very end.
